Shall the Town vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $152,230 for the Cemetery Department for the purpose of constructing garage space for equipment along with space for a small office, bathroom and meeting room? This will be a non-lapsing account per RSA 32:7 and will not lapse until the project is complete, or in two years, whichever is less.  (Recommended by Cemetery Trustees) (Recommended by Budget Committee)

Voter's Guide Explanation

The Cemetery Trustees are seeking funds to construct a building to house maintenance equipment, provide office space and replace the existing inadequate well.  Currently, space is quite limited for record storage and Trustee meeting area.  Bathroom facilities will be part of the building and will be accessible to the public during burial proceedings.
