Mammoth Convenience Store Burglar and Accomplices Caught in the Act

Officer Ryan Donovan was conducting checks of closed businesses during the midnight shift due to an increase in commercial burglaries in area towns.  At 1:11 am on Sunday, March 6, 2016 he observed a black 2005 Subaru Outback sedan parked behind the Mammoth Convenience store with its headlights on.  Ofc. Donovan noticed the front door of the closed business was smashed.  The Subaru drove around the north side of the business in reverse and attempted to depart on Mammoth Rd. upon the Officer’s arrival.

Ofc. Donovan stopped the Subaru on Mammoth Rd. about 100 yards north of the store and arrested the three suspects as Pelham backup officers arrived.  Dracut, Hudson and Salem Police Officers responded to secure the store.  Salem Officer Paul Benoit assisted clearing the store with his Police K-9, Dash.

Mammoth Convenience owners met Pelham Detectives and Officers at the scene.  They assisted in reviewing surveillance video that showed a man smash the glass front door and steal cartons of cigarettes, lottery tickets and other items while the Subaru waited at the rear of the store.  Officers saw the cigarettes and lottery tickets in the car as the suspects were arrested.  The Subaru was secured at the Pelham Police Department pending the application for a search warrant.

Jonathan T. Flynn, 19 years old, of Pelham, NH smashed the door and entered the store.  He was charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Loitering or Prowling.  Mr. Flynn also had an electronic bench warrant for Criminal Mischief out for his arrest from Nashua District Court.  Danielle P. Hagan, 19 years old, of Hudson, NH was driving the Subaru.  She was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Criminal Liability for the Conduct of Another and Loitering or Prowling.  Dennis M. Martinez, 18 years old, of Hudson, NH was a passenger waiting in the Subaru.  He was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary and Loitering or Prowling.

Mr. Flynn’s bail was set at $10,000 cash.  Ms. Hagan’s and Mr. Martinez’s bail were both set at $5,000 cash.  They were transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and will be arraigned at Salem District Court at 10:00 am on Monday, March 7, 2016.  Photos are attached.  Please direct any questions to Sgt.
