** GYM CLOSURES **

Please remember, if School is Cancelled then all Parks and Recreation Games and Practices are also Cancelled. If there is NO School the same rule applies with one exception, Teacher workshop days. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact the Parks and Rec. office.

The dates listed below are dates the school gym is not available.  If you have a practice scheduled on these dates your practice is cancelled.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

MEMORIAL SCHOOL

January 12th - Games rescheduled to Sunday 1/11

January 13th - Games rescheduled to Sunday 1/11

January 14th - Practices cancelled

January 17th - This is a Sat.  All games scheduled at Memorial will move to Sunday at Elementary. Check schedule for game times.

January 19th - Games rescheduled to Sunday 1/18

Division 1 - Boys ages 7/8

Division 5 - Boys ages 11/12

Division 7 - Boys ages 13-15

Division 2 - Girls ages 7/8

Division 4 - Girls ages 9/10

Division 6 - Girls ages 11/13

* Divisions 3 thru 7 will play (1) preseason game - (6) regular season games - playoffs.  We will be keeping score - standings - and a champion will be crowned for each division.

* Divisions 1 and 2 will play (8) games with each player receiving a participation award.

 

** Men's Pick-up basketball is on as scheduled for 12/23 and will then break until 1/06 **

Pelham Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations once again for the popular Men's Pick Up Basketball program (must be at least 18 yrs. of age and graduated from high school). Games start Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Pelham Elementary school gym and continue each Tuesday and Thursday through the school year. Program is subject to school needs, holiday/vacation cancellations or closures for inclement weather. The cost is $35/player and open to Pelham residents only.

Our supervisor is Bob Charette.  Please check in with him.

Summer

4 on 4 Black Top Basketball League

The program did not get off the ground in 2008 Summer.  We will be trying again in Summer 2009.
