Tot Summer Camp Counselor

This is a seasonal job two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at Elmer G. Raymond Memorial Park on Keyes Hill Road for the tot summer camp program.  It will involve 6 weeks beginning July 8, 2014 at an hourly rate of $8.  You will also need to work two training days in late June and be available throughout the dates.  This person is responsible to assist the tot camp supervisor with the supervision, safety and conduct of a group of 3 to 5 yr old children attending summer camp.  Applicant will help plan daily activities for the camp and field trips. You will work cooperatively with the supervisor, Junior Leaders, camp director and P&R office.  Must be age 18 or older and have some experience working with young children.  You will be required to have CPR and 1st aid certification.  The town is an equal opportunity employer.

Waterfront Director

This is a seasonal job at Pelham Veterans Memorial Park for the summer camp program and town beach patrons, including training lifeguards, preparing schedules, working with the camp counselors, oversee all waterfront activities.  You will be responsible for the scheduling of lifeguards and maintain the beach area, It will involve eight to ten weeks beginning on or about June 21, 2014.  This person is responsible for the public safety of all patrons and campers by enforcing beach rules as listed in the handout for town beach.  Must be 21 yrs of age with at least 4 years experience as a lifeguard or waterfront supervisor.  Must have current CPR, First Aid and AED certifications.  A WSI certification is a plus.  A responsible manner is expected at all times in this position.  You will work under the supervision of the Parks and Recreation office.
