Are you intimidated by your camera?

Parks and Recreation is excited to offer a 6 week beginner photography program.  Those participating need to bring their own digital camera (camera that has a removable lens and can be set on manual mode is recommended).

Course is designed to build a strong foundation in understanding and using basic foundations as well as proper exposure, iso's, focus, depth of field, basic flash photography, lenses, file resolution, and other controls.  Taking better photographs through framing, composition and posing will also be discussed.

Through weekly lessons, demonstrations and assignments, you will gain knowledge and develop comfort with your camera, helping you to make better images.

Instructor - Linda Jennings, a mentor with over 20 years of experience in photography, will teach the class.

* Class meets (6) Wednesdays from 6:30PM to 7:30PM at the Pelham High School Library starting  January 22nd and running through March 5th (skip 2/26).
