Pelham Skate Park Rules

Welcome to the Pelham Skate Park to be used for skateboarding, bikes and in-line skating.  Skateboards, BMX bikes and rollerblades only.  Act responsibly for the safety of everyone. 


“USE OF THIS FACILITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.”  No supervisor on duty.


  1. Hours of permitted use are dawn to dusk, until lights may be installed.  Closed for ice, snow or rainy weather conditions.
  2. No motorized wheeled vehicles of any kind allowed. 
  3. Skating or use of bikes is allowed only in authorized area.
  4. Helmets are required - gloves, knee and elbow pads, wrist supports and proper shoes are strongly recommended.
  5. Users must provide their own well maintained safe equipment.
  6. You may not add makeshift items, modify or reposition any equipment.
  7. Users are responsible for removing their own trash; no littering.
  8. No food, beverages or glass containers allowed in the skating areas.
  9. One user at a time on a ramp; three are permitted on waiting platform.
  10. No alcohol, no tobacco, no weapons, no foul language, no pets.
  11. Defacing or vandalism will result in full prosecution by law.
  12. Please keep noise to a minimum, including music.
  13. No sitting or hanging out on ramps.
  14. No child under the age of 12 is allowed without parental supervision.
  15. The Town reserves the right to revoke privileges from any individual who does not obey these rules, shows unacceptable conduct or for any other just cause.  Pelham Police will determine suspensions or permanent banning of individuals, as necessary.  A zero tolerance policy is in effect.


Failure to follow these rules can result in the closure of the skate park.  Respect each other and the park.  Stay safe and have fun.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, DIAL 9-1-1 (phone in police station lobby for emergencies) or 635-2411 for police, 635-2421 for fire dept.  Enforcement of rules will be handled by the Pelham Police Dept.  Report maintenance concerns to the Parks and Recreation office at 635-2721.
