Bike Competition  SUN 9/26  12PM

Skateboard Competition  SUN 10/3 12PM

Event is held at Lyons Park Skate Park.

Participants will compete for prizes and medals in 2 separate age groups - 12 and under and 13 and over.

Registration fee is $15 per participant.  Participants can register online using WebTrac or by printing the registration form below and mailing it in with payment.

There will also be registration the day of the event from 11AM-12PM.  Event starts at 12PM.

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED

 

2011  Pelham X

SKATEBOARD CAMP

Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce Pelham X Skateboard Camp.  The camp will be taught by Pelham's own EJ Martin.

2011 Program will run August 15th thru 19th (Mon thru Fri) at  Lyons Park Skate Park.

* 9AM-12PM - geared towards beginners

* Camp is open to boys and girls ages 7 and up

What you will learn:

* Learn the correct stance, turning, kick-turning, stopping, 180's, 360's and how to fall properly.

* Learn to ride fakie, do simple slide maneuvers, ride curbs, ollies, jumps, kick-turning on ramps.

* Learn to drop in on ramps, pump transitions, slide rails, learn ramp tricks such as rock and rolls, fakie rocks, ollies and intermediate park maneuvers.
