PELHAM PARKS AND RECREATION
The Pelham Parks and Recreation Dept. is pleased to return to Pats Peak in Henniker, NH for another year of skiing, snowboarding and lots of great outdoor fun. This year’s program will be THURSDAYS after school and is open to Pelham Memorial and Pelham High School students only (grades 6-12). Beginners and experienced skiers and/or snowboarders are welcome! There are no family discounts in this program. Registrations are accepted beginning October 20, 2008. The deadline is December 5, 2008, as space allows.
Applications are available at our office and must be signed by BOTH the parent or guardian and the student (of any age). Originals only are accepted; no copies. Parents should plan to take applications home and return them OR bring your child with you to the office. We also require a triplicate medical emergency form. Be sure to take a General Info form and Ski/SB letter with the Pats Peak registration form. You are responsible for the information contained in all documents. Cancellations will be announced when necessary at the schools. Decisions to cancel will not be made before noon on the day of the trip.

PAYMENT: TWO CHECKS will be required, one payable to Pats Peak for the cost listed under “Ski/SB” and another payable to Town of Pelham for the cost listed under “Bus/Costs”. PLEASE DO NOT STAPLE ANYTHING!
THERE WILL BE NO CASH REFUNDS from Pats Peak. Deadline for sign up is 12/5/08, or sooner, if we reach maximum numbers. First come, first serve. There are no online registrations and we cannot reserve a space by phone. We must have the application and checks (sorry, no deposits) in fairness to everyone in order to reserve a place for your child in the program. A limited number of scholarships are available (ask the office). Please be sure to include any rentals you may need when you register; it is not always possible to reserve them later. Every participant must pay for bus costs whether they utilize the ride or not. Coach buses are provided with equipment storage, heat, restroom and TV/video player. NOTE: Lessons ARE required for beginners and any student under a Level 5 as noted on the application forms. You must check off a level for your child. Chaperones are needed! A meeting with Parks and Recreation Director will be held in December but please give us your name/number now if you’re able to help.
