We have several different ways to volunteer here at the center!

If you are interested in volunteering at the center, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Irene Hinkle at   ihinkle8@hotmail.com

Kitchen Volunteers

These volunteers work with our Kitchen Manager and the Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County program. They need servers, prep help and cleaning assistance: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Kitchen helpers can work daily, weekly or monthly. For more information on volunteering for MOWHC, please call them at 603-424-9967.

Pelham Community Thrift Store Volunteers

The Pelham Community Thrift Store is a major fund raiser for the Pelham NH COA, Corp. It is run entirely by PCOA volunteers! These positions require the ability to handle money and some light lifting and organizing. The store is open for business Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm, and special hours on one Saturday a month. For more information about volunteering in the Pelham Community Thrift Store speak directly with Sue DiFranco at 603-508-7157.

Manage a program

Do you have a talent, interest, or a gift that you might like to share with others. Are you a retired teacher, baker, artist, etc.? Would you be interested in running a senior class? Stop in and speak with Sara Landry. Many of our programs are run and successful because of senior volunteers stepping up and offering their time to teach others!

Event Helper

This person helps set up, during and clean up for our events. You can volunteer for all three needs or just what you are able to help with.

Volunteer applications can be picked up at the Hobbs Community Center!
