The meeting was conducted in accordance with the Attached Agenda.

 

Meeting Summary

 

Minutes Review:

The Trustees approved the meeting minutes for 8 April 2009

 

Discussion on Investment with Schwab:

The Trustees tabled any further discussion/decision on the Schwab Investment Pl= an until the Trustees have attended the Attorney General Charitable Trust Trai= ning Seminar on 9 June 2009.

 

New Business:

The Town provided an invoice for $150,816.00 for closure of Capital Reserve Acc= ounts authorized by Town vote in March 2009 under Warrant #22

  &nbs= p; 032644    Landfill Closure     $145,969

  &nbs= p; 032651    Revaluation        &= nbsp;  $    4,847

 

 

However, the amount specified in the Warrant at time of approval does not represent = the current balance with newly accrued interest, so the check was signed for the invoiced amount, but the Town will have to submit an invoice for the remain= ing balance.
Mary Gleason will request the final balance from Citizens Bank, so the acco= unts can be properly closed to $0.00 balance and once ascertained, the Chair Laurette Guay will request an additional invoice from Janet Gallant.

The full amount will be transferred to checking for distribution pending receip= t of any necessary invoices.

 

Track 2001

After discussion with Steve Ziogas on the existence o= f a Not-for Profit Charitable Corporation entitled “Track 2001”, du= ly registered with the State of NH and The Internal Revenue Service, it was determined that all the current planned construction for the High School Tr= ack should be handled by that agency rather than the Trustees Track 2001 Trust.=

The funds existing in the Trustees Track 2001 Trust should be either paid out f= or actual costs incurred for that project  or transferred to the Not-For-Profit Charitable Corporation.

The Chair, Laurette Guay will contact the Attorney General’s Office, specifically Terry Knowles, to seek her guidance and approval on how to proceed.
