The meeting was conducted in accordance with the Attached Agenda.

 

Meeting Summary

 

Minutes Review:

The Trustees approved the meeting minutes for 17 June 2009

 

Review of Library Trusts

The Trustees reviewed the Library Trust Funds with the attending Library person= nel.

Upon completion of the review, The Library Trustee Chair and Director indicated = that although current regulations call for immediate distribution of Trust earni= ngs, their preference would be for the Trustees of the Trust Funds retain all su= ch earnings until invoiced by the Library.

 

Establish 2010 Budget

The Trustees reviewed the proposed 2010 budget and determined that postage shou= ld be entered at last year’s amount, since it is not predictable as to h= ow much certified or registered mail will be required in the course of administering the Trusts.

Therefore, the budget for 2010 will be proposed at $95.00

 

Discussion on Citizens Bank Investment Proposal

It was determined that the Citizens Proposal should be further discussed in a meeting with Citizens Representatives.

The Chair will contact Christine Therrien, VP, Government Banking Division to s= ee if they will be available for the next Trustee Meeting.

 

School Payment Reports

It was determined that the SAU has yet to provide the $50,000 approved by Warr= ant Article for deposit in the School Building Capital Reserve and the request = for a fiscal year end report on all School Trusts and Capital Reserves.

The Chair will attempt to contact the SAU Administrator, Kathleen Sargent to inquire as to the status.

 

 

 

Next Meeting

The next Trustee Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday 19 August, 2009 in the Police Community Room
