HIKE CHALLENGE

The Forestry Committee is issuing a challenge to hikers in the area to hike all 20+ miles of trails in Pelham, New Hampshire. After having hiked all trails, each hiker will earn a patch. A complete set of maps can be found at: www.pelhamweb.com/forestry-committee/pages/trail-maps. Alternately maps can be found at: Explorer for ArcGIS and search for Pelham Trails.

FAQ’s:

1. What is the Hike Challenge?

This means that you have hiked all portions of mapped trails on Pelham’s town land. To ensure you have completed all parts of a trail, print out a map and mark each trail to indicate the portions you have hiked.

2. Who is eligible to do this?

All trails are family friendly and are open to all. Each person in a family should keep track of the trails they have completed individually.

3. What timeframe should this be completed in?

There is no timeframe. Each person can hike at their own speed and at times that are convenient for them.

4. When all trails have been hiked, what should a person/family do?

Ensure the attached spreadsheet is completely filled out, fill in the information on the bottom of the second page and email Linda at: lirishsimpson@pelhamweb.com
