JOB: Summer Camp Counselor Positions at PVMP


This is a seasonal job Monday through Friday, July 6 – August 14,
2020) from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Pelham Veterans Memorial Park for
the 6-week summer camp program. It will involve seven weeks (to
include staff training June 29-July 2, 2020) at an hourly rate of
$11.00. Full availability for training and 6 weeks of camp is
required; NO exceptions. This person is responsible for the
supervision, safety and conduct of a group of 8 to 10 school-aged
children (ages 6-13/14) attending summer camp and will work with
fellow Counselors, Group Supervisors, Camp Director and P&R
office. Must be age 16 or older and have some experience working
with children. Applicants should be motivated, energetic, patient,
responsible and have a good sense of humor. You will be required to
have CPR and 1st aid certification; class is provided free of charge on
Saturday, June 27, 2020. You will be working a 35-hour week. The

Weekly Hours: Seasonal Salary: $12/hr 
Position Overview:
Temporary / seasonal position with the Parks and Recreation Department. To ensure public
safety of all patrons by enforcing the beach rules. To keep waterfront clean of debris and
must be alert and prepared to guard every time he or she is on the schedule.

JOB OPENING: Adult Men’s Spring Softball Scorekeeper


This position is open for 2 scorekeepers of games for Men’s Spring Softball leagues at
Newcomb Field off Windham Road in Pelham, NH. Applicants must be 16 years or
older. You must be able to keep track with the games as the scoring can be fast paced;
good focus and concentration is needed. Applicants must be available to work any
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thurs evenings from approximately 6 pm to about 9:30/10
pm from late April to late July or early August. Knowledge of slow pitch softball is very
helpful in keeping the scorebook. Scorers are required to send in the standings (via
email) to our office immediately after each evening or morning when games are covered.
Pay is $11.00/hour. Contact Parks and Recreation with any questions; visit our website
