Transportation

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the Senior Bus is only running for essential errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy and banking. The bus is available Monday-Friday. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance please call the Hobbs Community Center at 635-3800. 

 

Hobbs Community Center's Senior Bus is available free of charge to all Pelham Senior Residents  aged 50 years of age and older. The bus provides transportation to the Hobbs Center–Tuesday thru Friday. Monday’s our bus transports to restaurants, local stores, banks and pharmacies.

This BUS OPERATE ONLY IN THE CITY LIMITS OF PELHAM, NH., except for special outings and shopping trips. Shopping trips are scheduled for Monday.

The Hobbs Community Center bus is a HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE BUS with wheelchair accessibility. The bus driver is allowed to provide door to door service for each rider. Any personal care attendant can ride the bus. Personal items cannot be left on the bus overnight.

There is NO assigned seating on the bus. Front seats can be reserved at the discretion of the bus driver, for those riders that he/she feels need a closer seat.

THE BUS RESERVATION PHONE LINE IS 635-3800. Reservations will be taken between the hours of 8:30am and 12:00 noon Monday through Friday. First pick up is 8:45 am and with return trip leaving the Hobbs Center appoximately at 1pm. We ask all riders to please be ready 10 minutes before scheduled pick-up in case the bus is running ahead of schedule. On the return trip home, the riders must be ready to leave the Hobbs Center at the assigned time.

BUS SERVICE IS SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS and may not run if the bus has mechanical issues.
