Credits & Exemptions Info

The Town of Pelham offers a $500 Veteran's Tax Credit for qualifying Veterans and a $2000 credit for service-connected, totally and permanently disabled Veterans. You will need to submit a PA-29 (PDF) along with your discharge papers and/or documentation of the service connection of your disability to the Assessing Office no later than April 15.

If your property is in a trust, you must also submit a completed PA-33 (PDF) along with a copy of the trust.

Veterans can request a copy of their discharge papers.

The Town of Pelham offers the following exemptions for property owners: Wood Energy, Solar Power, Blind, and an Elderly Exemption. Application for any credit or exemption starts with a PA-29 from the Department of Revenue Administration. The elderly exemption has supplemental forms listed on this website, which must be submitted. The blind exemption requires certification from the NH Department of Education. Solar and Wood exemptions also require supporting documentation (typically an invoice) for installation of the system.
