Public Hearing: Regarding Dog Ordinance

LEGAL NOTICE

REGARDING TOWN ORDINANCE ADOPTION
in accordance with RSA 41:14b the

Pelham Board of Selectmen
will hold two public hearings on

Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 6:30 PM
and
Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 6:30 PM

at Sherburne Hall, 6 Village Green, Pelham, NH

This proposed ordinance is not intended to limit the ability of dogs to accompany citizens when utilizing common areas of Town of Pelham parks and athletic fields for recreation and observing athletic events. This proposed ordinance does seek to specify that no dogs are allowed on athletic areas (fields, courts, playgrounds, courses etc.) to limit sanitary and safety concerns as well as prevent possible damage to athletic fields.

The Pelham Board of Selectmen will vote on the acceptance of this ordinance on
Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

A copy of the proposed ordinance will be available in the Selectmen’s Office
located at 6 Village Green, Pelham, NH.
