Parks & Town Beach



Veterans Memorial Park is closed to public Mon 6/29 thru Wed 7/1 between 9-4pm for Summer Camp staff training.


Summer Camp will be held 7/6 thru 8/14.  Park access will be limited to weekends and after 4PM Mon - Fri during Summer Camp.




Town Beach Permits are SOLD OUT at this time.  If you would like to be added to the wait list please call Parks and Recreation at 635-6951. 



2020 Beach Permits


Veterans are eligible for a FREE beach pass.  Please bring your Form DD214 and proof of residency to the Parks and Recreation office and you will be issued a beach pass at no charge.


The Pelham Town Beach at Veterans Memorial Park is Open to Residents ONLY.  Residents must purchase a beach permit for $20 or renew their permit from last year for $15.  The beach permit will allow access through the electronic gate located at the entrance to Veterans Memorial Park.  At this time, only online registration is available.   


This season’s beach access will be unique due to the current Covid-19 situation.  Only 200 permits will be issued; First come, First Served.  Access to the beach during our summer camp, 6/29/20 through 8/14/20, will be limited to weekends and after 4pm mid-week. 


Please note, residents purchasing a beach pass are doing so at their own risk. Due to the uncertainty of the Covid crisis, should the beach need to close for any reason, there will be no refunds.


Please be advised that social distancing at the beach and in the water is expected. 


Summer Camp training will be held Mon 6/29 thru Thur 7/2.  Park access during these days will be limited to after 4PM.

An electronic gate has been installed at Veterans Memorial Park. 

Residents MUST purchase a beach permit to gain access to the Town Beach.  New Beach permits are $20. Beach Permit renewals are $15.

The Beach Permit is a scan card that allows residents to gain

entry to the park and town beach.  Residents will still need to show the

lifeguards their beach permit at the waterfront.
