Volunteering

Due to the COVID-19 all programs are cancelled.  We are however requesting that anyone who wishes to volunteer, if the need arises for shopping or errands for in town seniors, please fill out a Town Volunteer Application.  See the link on this page!  For any questions regarding volunteering during this crisis, please call me- Sara Landry, at 635-3800 ext 1. Thank you!

We have several different ways to volunteer here at the Center!

Kitchen Volunteers
These volunteers work with our Kitchen Manager and the SJCS program. We need servers, prep help and cleaning assistance: Tuesday- Fridays from 10 AM to 1PM. Kitchen helpers can work daily, weekly or monthly- you let us know how many hours your available and we can fit you in!!! For more information speak directly with Susan Boucher in the Hobbs Center Kitchen.

Penny Pincher Thrift Store Volunteers
The Thrift store is a major fund raiser for the Pelham NH COA, Corp. It is entirely run by COA volunteers! These positions require the ability to handle money and some light lifting and organizing. The Thrift store is open Tuesday- Friday from 8:30 to 11:30/noon. For more information about volunteering in the Thrift store speak directly with Shirley Janocha.

Manage a program
Do you have a talent, interest or a gift that you might like to share with others. Are you a retired teacher, Baker, Artist, etc.? Would you be interested in running a senior class? Stop in and speak with Sara Landry. Many of our programs are run and successful because of Senior Volunteers stepping up and offering their time to teach others!
