2006 School Warrant Article 10

Shall the Pelham School District vote to raise and appropriate the sum of FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($44,075).  Said sum of money being the amount necessary to fund a 3% salary increase for non-union employees. (Recommended by the Pelham School Board)  (Recommended by the Pelham Budget Committee)

Voter's Guide Explanation

Most employees in the District are represented by collective bargaining agreements that set guaranteed rates of pay for each year. Passage of this warrant article will provide a 3% increase in pay for all employees that are not represented by a collective bargaining unit including:

• Administrators;

• Secretaries;

• Food Service Personnel;

• Custodians; and

• Library Aides.
