| INFO: | No experience needed! In this class we'll explore various styles of tap, including 'Soft Shoe', Broadway Music Style and today's flat-footed Funk style. We'll learn how to create tap sounds and steps such as the Grapevine, Suzie Q, and Maxie Ford as well as beginner tap riffs and floor progressions. We'll conclude with a basic tap combination requiring some memorization, while incorporating musicality (rythm, timing and phrasing). Tap shoes are suggested to enjoy the full experience of this class. |
