Summer Camp is CLOSED Wednesday 7/8 due to the Thunderstorm threat this afternoon.  We apologize for the inconvenience.





We are happy to announce that we are able to offer a 6-week camp for ages 6-13/14 (children entering high school in the fall of 2020 do not qualify for camp), Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-3:30 pm, July 6 - August 14, 2020 at Veterans Memorial Park for Pelham residents ONLY.  No proration of weeks; you must register for the 6 full weeks.  Registration is limited in each of the 4 age groups new this year.  ONLINE registration only, starting Monday, June 8, 2020, at 9 am.  First come, first served.  Please read guidelines posted below and email with any questions before June 8.  (See note above.)



No field trips, no snack shack, no extended care, no Junior Leader program.

Registration will open for residents on 6/08/20. Registration is online only.

Registration is not open for non-residents this year.

Registration is limited and will be first come, first served.

   NOTE:  We are only offering a six week registration option this year.  Campers must register for the full 6 weeks.  We are not offering any other options.


Registration:  $435 / Child;  $285 each additional child/children in same family

Pelham Parks and Recreation Guidelines for 

 Summer Camp 2020 at PVMP   


* Camp will be Monday-Friday, July 6 - August 14, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm for Pelham families only. 

* Camp sign-ups will be online only for a 6-week camp; first come, first served.

* There will be no field trips and no extended care before or after camp. 

* Temperature will be taken daily for each staff and camper present.  Temps are to be recorded and no one will be admitted with a 100.4 temp or greater. 

* Parents will remain in vehicle to await the temperature clearance prior to exiting. 

* Supervisors or camp directors will wear masks and gloves while taking temps with a no-touch forehead child/adult thermometer. 

* Staff will wear masks/gloves for first aid and other close contact with campers. 

* Campers are not being asked to wear masks. 

* Pick up and drop off may be a staggered time or drop off locations might be different per group.  Parents will be notified. 

* Social distancing will be maintained whenever possible. 

* Camp will be limited to 160 children in groups of 10, up to 40 maximum per age group.  Age groups are as follows: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11 & 12-13/14. 

* Children may be intermingled in their individual age group of 40. 

* There will be no ‘guest for a day’ in camp; children may not bring a friend. 

* There will be 4 counselors and 1 supervisor per age group, a Camp Director and an Activity Director.  All staff is CPR/1st aid certified.   

* Age groups will be kept in four separate areas and rotated through the day. 

* There will be no field trips and no extended care before or after camp. 

* Campers will not be allowed in the lodge, except for restroom use and drinks. 

* No teen Junior Leader program this year.   

* Lunches to be provided by parents/guardians daily.  No refrigeration at camp.  No food is available for purchase.  Drinks ARE available for purchase. 

* If we have a 30% or higher chance of rain, camp will be closed as we’re not able to utilize the indoor lodge.  Check website for that notice by 8 am.   

* Access to the lake and kayaks/boards will still be available; lifeguards on duty. 

* The beach will not be open to the public and the gate to PVMP will be left locked during the camp hours.  Parents needed an early pick-up, should call first.   

* All equipment will be disinfected, along with restrooms during the camp day after use.  A thorough cleaning will take place at the end of each day for all surfaces, equip  ment, tables, etc. 

* Equipment will be purchased and kept separate for each age group. 

* Water stations and hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the park.
