Vital Records

Obtain Via Mail

To obtain any of the following certified records via mail:

• Complete the form pertaining to the specific record: birth, marriage, death, or divorce:
• A copy of a picture ID must accompany your request
• A self-addressed stamped envelope
• A check or money order made out to: The Town of Pelham

Birth Records

To obtain a Copy of a Birth Record:

• Birth records are available to immediate family members
• A picture ID must be presented at the time of the request.
• You must complete a request form. (See link below)
• You may obtain certified copies for any births that occurred in Pelham, and also for births that occurred in the State of NH after 1935.

Fee

• $15 for the First Copy/Search
• $10 for additional copy issued at the same time for the same record

Certified Copy of Marriage License

To obtain a Copy of a Marriage License:

• Marriage records are available to immediate family members
• A picture ID must be presented at the time of the request.
• You must complete a request form. (See link below)
• You may obtain certified copies for any marriages that occurred in Pelham, and also for marriages that occurred in the State of NH after 1960.

Fee

• $15 for the First Copy/Search
• $10 for additional copy issued at the same time for the same record

Death Records

To obtain a Copy of a Death Record:

• Death records are available to immediate family members
• A picture ID must be presented at the time of the request.
• You must complete a request form. (See link below)
• You may obtain certified copies for any death that occurred in Pelham, and also for deaths that occurred in the State of NH after 1965.

Fee

• $15 for the First Copy/Search
• $10 for additional copy issued at the same time for the same record

Divorce Records

To obtain a Copy of a Divorce Record:

• Divorce records are available to immediate family members
• A picture ID must be presented at the time of the request.
• You must complete a request form. (See Link below)
• You may obtain a certified copy from the Town Clerk's Office in Pelham for a divorce that occurred in any city or town in the State of NH after 1979.

• $15 for the First Copy/Search
• $10 for additional copy issued at the same time for the same record
